Health Program
Health is a major factor in people's lives, and people's health is a priority for societal survival and growth. Solid health systems are also a cornerstone to the resilience of economies. Societies thrive when they are healthy and free from pollution that is the cause of various diseases. The lack or absence of health status for individuals may reduce and weaken their productivity. Diseases that result in disability leave people dependent on others for survival. Therefore, TKF focus on improving health care services that reflect positively on individuals and societies as a whole through the establishment of a treatment and rehabilitation center that enable them to get the healing they need and participate effectively in the development process.
TKF implements several projects in the health sector, especially the ones effected by conflicts, wars, and epidemics as they require direct and urgent provision with medical equipment, supplies. The Foundation also contributes to enhancing awareness and understanding of health issues by participating in media campaigns for World Health Day.
