Agriculture & Water Program

Water and agriculture are two main staples of the world’s food system. Clean and safe water resources are a prerequisite for societies to live and thrive. Water is a essential human right, as well as a necessity for life, health and dignity. It is inextricably linked to all areas of development. In the countryside, families depend mainly on agriculture to survive. In the global perspective, agriculture contributes to the food production of billions of people, promoting prosperity and growth and eradicating poverty.
