Tawakkol Karman Foundation has announced the opening of applications for the partial English language scholarship – March 2026 cohort, under its flagship Leaders for Future program, an initiative designed to equip young people and
children with the linguistic skills they need to thrive academically and professionally in a rapidly changing world.
The scholarship is part of the foundation’s broader effort to strengthen youth capacities and nurture a generation of promising leaders — individuals who are open to the world, grounded in dialogue, and committed to the values of coexistence and peace. By enhancing English proficiency, the program seeks to expand participants’ opportunities in the job market and support their admission to leading universities.
Open to learners starting at age seven, the scholarship spans all levels, from foundational courses to preparation for TOEFL and IELTS examinations. A range of academic tracks ensures that participants can pursue a path aligned with their goals and proficiency levels.
The scholarship covers 70 percent of English course tuition, in addition to 100 percent of lecture and training activity fees associated with the English Diploma, offering a comprehensive educational experience that blends academic instruction with skills development.
Three tailored tracks
The March 2026 scholarship includes three main programs designed to meet the needs of different groups:
Intensive program: Held five days a week (Monday through Friday), three hours per day, this track is ideal for students seeking focused, accelerated language learning.
English for Communication program: Conducted four days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday), three hours per day, this track emphasizes vocabulary development, listening and speaking skills, while also covering grammar topics across Levels 1 through 4.
Children’s program: Designed for students aged 7 to 14, this track runs five days a week, three hours per day, building a strong linguistic foundation in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Flexible online learning
The scholarship is delivered online through an interactive educational platform in partnership with English Castle Institute. Participants may choose between morning, daytime and evening schedules, allowing flexibility to accommodate different commitments. Each course runs for four weeks, followed by a one-week break.
The program is set to begin on March 1, 2026, with applications open through March 31, 2026.
This initiative forms part of Tawakkol Karman Foundation’s ongoing commitment to advancing education and capacity-building, preparing a generation capable of competing and driving positive change both locally and internationally. Leaders for Future remains one of the foundation’s most prominent education and skills development programs, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to build promising academic and professional futures.
