The Tabibi application, supported by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, provided more than 3,930 free medical consultations throughout 2025, as part of the foundation’s efforts to expand access to free health care through digital platforms and reach communities most in need. These consultations were made possible through contributions of 176 volunteer doctors—men and women—from a wide range of medical specialties, who dedicated their time over the year to providing medical guidance and health advice to beneficiaries through the app.
According to annual performance indicators, the number of direct beneficiaries reached 3,224 individuals, while 27 medical clinics participated in receiving referrals transferred through the application.
The Tabibi app aims to broaden access to free medical consultations, particularly in areas facing shortages in health services or difficulties in reaching medical facilities. The initiative contributes to narrowing health-care gaps by offering innovative and sustainable solutions for medical support.
This initiative comes within Tawakkol Karman Foundation’s ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and facilitate access to medical services by supporting digital projects and humanitarian initiatives with health and social impact, helping to ease health-related hardships for communities inside Yemen and beyond.
Work through the Tabibi app will continue in the coming period to expand medical specialties, enhance services, and increase the number of volunteer doctors, further strengthening the project’s humanitarian and health impact.
