Tawakkol Karman Foundation has announced the opening of applications for its partial scholarship to study English online, offered under its Leaders for Future program. The initiative is designed to help young people and children strengthen their language skills and enhance their academic and professional prospects.
The scholarship, implemented in partnership with English Castle Institute, provides flexible English learning opportunities for all age groups starting from seven years old. It caters to learners at all levels—from beginners to those preparing for TOEFL or IELTS exams—with various options to suit individual needs.
According to the announcement, the scholarship offers three main tracks: an intensive program held five days a week for those who wish to commit fully and accelerate their learning; a program for busy individuals held three days a week, tailored for people with tight schedules seeking flexible learning; and a children’s program for ages 7 to 14, held five days a week in an interactive and safe environment focused on building strong language foundations.
Tawakkol Karman Foundation covers 70% of the tuition fee. While the full cost of each course is $170, students pay only $51. Each course runs for four weeks followed by a one-week break.
The scholarship features interactive online learning through a dedicated educational platform. Students can choose from morning, afternoon, or evening sessions, with additional activities designed to further develop their skills and knowledge—especially in the intensive and busy individuals programs.
The foundation stressed that applicants must fully adhere to participation guidelines, including maintaining at least 80% attendance and achieving a minimum score of 70% in each course. Applicants are required to have their own email address and phone number; in the case of children, a guardian’s contact number must also be provided.
The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another beneficiary. Multiple applications using the same email will result in the cancellation of the applicant’s request.
The Leaders for Future program is part of Tawakkol Karman Foundation’s broader efforts to support education, build youth capacity, and equip young people with knowledge tools essential for shaping their academic and professional futures.
