Tawakkol Karman Foundation hosted the official launch of its "Jusoor 2025" program on Thursday, April 24, with over 18 Yemeni youth and student organizations in Türkiye participating both in person and online via Zoom. The event was held at the foundation’s main conference hall.
The launch featured several key sessions, including an introduction to the program, guidance on developing project ideas, steps for writing, executing, and documenting projects, as well as an overview of financial procedures related to project implementation.
During the event, the foundation reaffirmed its commitment to empowering and equipping youth as a driving force for building a better future for Yemen and the region.
Jusoor 2025 aims to train and prepare young leaders and Yemeni students residing in Türkiye to design impactful development projects that strengthen their capacities and enable them to become influential leaders in their communities.
The program targets the General Union of Yemeni Students in Türkiye, along with more than 30 local student unions across Turkish cities, in addition to Yemeni cultural and intellectual clubs, student reading groups, youth forums, and the broader Yemeni diaspora in Türkiye.
Project areas under the program include cultural, intellectual, and educational activities; initiatives promoting human rights and democratic awareness; efforts to foster dialogue and peacebuilding; and various training and professional development programs.
