Over 5,000 beneficiaries of Tabibi app in 2024
In 2024, over 5,000 people benefited from the Tabibi app, supported by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, as part of its efforts to deliver innovative and sustainable healthcare.
The app provided free medical consultations to 5,472 individuals last year, facilitated by 114 volunteer doctors from various medical specialties. Additionally, 2024 saw 50 new doctors joining the Tabibi platform, marking another milestone in the app’s ongoing success, funded by Tawakkol Karman Foundation.
Since its launch in 2019, the Tabibi app has delivered 72,344 medical consultations through approximately 600 volunteer doctors across diverse fields. The app has been downloaded by around 54,000 users, making it a vital healthcare resource.
It is noteworthy that Tabibi is one of the cornerstone initiatives sponsored by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, aimed at raising health awareness and providing accessible, round-the-clock medical services in response to the country’s challenging circumstances.
The app enables specialized doctors to address consultations, medical inquiries, and health issues via chat, offering guidance to patients, particularly those in remote areas with limited access to medical facilities.
