Tawakkol Karman Foundation has announced the launch of its "Musanada" program for 2024, aimed at empowering Yemeni youth to take an active role in their communities by providing economic opportunities and encouraging creativity and initiative.
The program will offer financial and administrative support to help bring youth-led initiatives to life, giving young people a real chance to make a difference and contribute meaningfully to society.
In its 2024 edition, the program will focus on youth in the governorates of Taiz, Marib, Al Mahrah, Shabwah, and Lahj, as well as the cities of Mukalla and Seiyun in Hadhramaut.
The program's key areas include education, economic empowerment, social cohesion, and addressing the issue of landmines in Yemen.
Since its launch in 2022, "Musanada" has funded six youth initiatives across the governorates of Taiz, Marib, Aden, and Hadhramaut, covering areas such as education, art, the environment, and supporting people with disabilities.
