On Monday, February 6, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, followed by another with a magnitude of 7.6 and hundreds of violent aftershocks, causing significant loss of life and property in both countries.
The foundation stated that it will build 50 housing units for those who have lost their homes due to the earthquake in Turkey through the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
The foundation also announced that it will put the Yemeni flag on each housing unit as a symbol of Yemenis' solidarity with their brothers and sisters in Turkey, and will also put its logo as a sign of loyalty to Turkey, which has welcomed Yemenis during difficult times and continues to do so.
The foundation also stated that it is preparing two caravans carrying food and winter clothes for those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. The caravan will move on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, toward the affected areas in Turkey, and later another caravan will head toward Syria.

The foundation called on the international community in general and organizations, in particular, to donate to help rescue the missing and stranded, provide shelter for those who have lost their homes, and activate the principle of humanitarian solidarity.
