The conflict situation in Yemen is entering its sixth year, in conjunction with the decline in peace efforts, which further complicated the humanitarian conditions. The war is affecting about 24 million people; 3.14 million of whom are in dire need of humanitarian assistance; The figures show that the number of people needing help has increased to 27 percent, parallel to the beginning of 2018.

Epidemics continue to spread among the population with the disruption of 50% of health facilities, and the inefficiency of the other 50% due to a lack of medications or medical equipment. Furthermore, statistics show that 15 million Yemenis do not have access to clean water or health services. The displaced are the victims who suffer the most from these conditions as the continuation of the war in Yemen pushed the population to leave their homes and properties and flee with their lives, thus becoming homeless. Today displaced people live in simple tents that don’t prevent sun, rain, or cold.

Under the relief program for areas of war and conflict, the TKF launched a relief campaign targeting more than 1,000 displaced families in Al-Haqb District, Al-Dhalea Governorate, central Yemen, hoping to alleviate their suffering.
