TKF organizes a symposium on "The future of distance education and current changes"
On Sunday, November 14th, 2021 in Istanbul, Tawakkol Karman Foundation organized a symposium on "The Future of Distance Education and the Current Changes" within the framework of its Jusoor (Bridges) program.
The symposium, which was held in a hotel in Istanbul and was broadcast on the Foundation's channel on YouTube and on its Facebook page, witnessed the participation of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Jamous, a PhD holder in Business Strategies and an Institutional Development Consultant, and of Firas Ahmad, the founder of EIC Café Creative and Entrepreneurship YouTube channel.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Jamous, in the first part of the symposium, reviewed the changes that the world had witnessed after Corona pandemic “Covid-19”, and talked about the advantages granted by distance education, the reasons that made many countries adopt the digital transformation in the field of education, the difficulties and challenges of remote education, the requirements of the university, and reviewed the models of international tests such as "SAT” and “TOEFL".
While Mr. Firas Ahmed, in the second part of the symposium, reviewed the way of choosing the appropriate entity to study in and for checking the accreditation and acceptance of universities, the mechanism for obtaining full or partial scholarships in public or private universities, the after-graduation steps, and presented success stories of students who graduated and worked in large companies and in multiple countries.
