Nine Hundred, Sixty-three Young People Join the Third Batch of the Intensive English Language Diploma Scholarship Financed by TKF
Nine hundred, sixty-three young people representing eight countries have been qualified to the seats of the third batch of the intensive
English language diploma offered by Tawakkol Karman Foundation within “Leaderships for the Future” program.
Four thousand, five hundred and eighty-seven young people applied for the third batch of the diploma announced on May 7th, 2021. They represent Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Sudan, Somalia, Egypt, and Turkey and after screening and examining their merits, 963 young people qualified.
The seats of the third batch were supposed to be 300; however, due to the big number of applications, Tawakkol Karman Foundation has decided to increase them to 963 seats.
This comes following the successfulness of batches one and two of the intensive English language diploma achieved that targeted over 1500 young people.
English Castle Institute organizes the diploma. The study mode is distant learning with four hours a day for five days a week.
Within this program, two diplomas accompany the English language diploma which are Qualifying the Youth to the Job Market Diploma and Democracy and Peace Building Diploma.
It is worth mentioning that Leaderships for the Future program aims at qualifying the skills of the youth and help them meet the requirements to enroll at universities and have the best job opportunities. The language diploma ends with a course to prepare for the TOEFL or IELTS exams.
