Over the past period, Tawakkol Karman Foundation successfully completed 29 new projects as part of Season Seven of the Haith Al-Insan program, which aims to enhance infrastructure and improve access to education, healthcare, and economic empowerment in Yemen

Education | Infrastructure and New Opportunities
Believing that education is the cornerstone of development, we launched several educational initiatives. Highlights include:
• Construction of the Belqees Educational Complex for Girls and the Deaf – Taiz
• Construction of a school in Wadi Naqb – Hadramout
• Rehabilitation of an adult literacy center in Badu Al-Nawahi – Hadramout
• Construction of a school in the Al-Falq area – Shabwah
• Establishment of a modern computer lab – University of Taiz







Health, Water, and Agriculture | Vital Response
The conflict in Yemen has devastated much of the country’s infrastructure. In response, we implemented several projects in the fields of health, agriculture, and water supply, including:
• Construction of the Belqees Health Unit – Al-Mahrah
• Renovation of the doctors’ residence at Al-Faydami Health Center – Al-Mahrah
• Support for the Iradah Center for Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation – Taiz
• Provision of a transport bus for Iradah Center – Hadamout
• Water project in Al-Mahwasa village – Abyan






Economic Empowerment | Toward Self-Sufficiency
Economic empowerment projects are among the most effective tools for alleviating poverty and improving living conditions for Yemeni families. In this season, we implemented and supported many diverse economic projects, including:
• Confectionery production lab – Marib
• Handbags and cosmetics shop – Taiz
• Mobile fruit and vegetable vending vehicle – Marib
• Mobile toy vending vehicle – Taiz
• Refrigerated shop for selling fish and chicken – Socotra
• Women’s clothing and perfume shop – Socotra








People with Disabilities & Women's Support | Rehabilitation and Empowerment
At Haith Al-Insan, we are committed to uplifting marginalized and vulnerable groups, especially people with disabilities and women. Over 30% of the beneficiaries from this season’s projects were individuals with disabilities, and women accounted for another 30%, aligning with our strategic focus on women's empowerment. Notable projects in this category include:
• Rehabilitation of a physical therapy and rehabilitation center in Al-Shammasrah – Taiz
• Rehabilitation of a literacy center in Badu Al-Nawahi – Hadramout
• Refurnishing of the female student dormitory at the University of Taiz
• Provision of a bus to the Iradah Center for people with disabilities in Tarim – Hadramout




Lasting Impact
Since its inception, the Haith Al-Insan program has implemented more than 203 projects across 13 Yemeni governorates, directly benefiting over 120,000 people. These projects are featured in documentary episodes broadcast on Belqees TV, showcasing real-life stories of transformation and humanitarian impact.
