“The program is not just about learning a new language; it is a life-changing experience overall.”
Rafidah Al-Ameesi reflects on how Leaders for Future scholarship from Tawakkol Karman Foundation impacted her personally and professionally.
Rafidah says:
First and foremost, I would like to express my deep gratitude for the opportunity I received to study English through the scholarship offered by Tawakkol Karman Foundation. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, and I have seen significant growth in my language and communication skills.
Thanks to this scholarship, I have greatly improved my English abilities. I learned new grammar rules, expanded my vocabulary, and became capable of expressing my thoughts more clearly and accurately. Studying English has also helped me develop my reading and writing skills, allowing me to engage better in conversations and interact with written materials. The positive impact was not limited to just language skills but also extended to communication. Through learning English, my ability to communicate with others has improved, and I can now better integrate into diverse communities. New opportunities for learning and embracing different cultures have also opened up for me.
I am currently studying pharmacy at university, and thanks to the skills I gained from learning English, I can now communicate more effectively with my colleagues and professors. Additionally, these skills have improved my understanding of educational materials. They have also helped me with writing research papers and delivering professional presentations.
Studying the English diploma was not just about learning a new language; it was truly a transformative experience in both my personal and professional life. I now feel proud and confident after completing the diploma and in my ability to communicate in English with confidence and proficiency.
The additional courses and training in the English diploma, which I completed over the past period, offered unique and excellent content in entrepreneurship and working in the field. Through these courses, I developed a deeper understanding and skills in entrepreneurship, which I successfully applied in the job market. I also gained a better understanding of how to interact in international work environments and how to communicate and succeed in the global labor market. These training sessions have been a true asset to my professional experience.
I wish Tawakkol Karman Foundation continued success and progress in its endeavors, and I look forward to more creativity and development in future courses and training programs. This has been a comprehensive and fruitful experience, and I hope others will also benefit from the quality and effectiveness of these courses in enhancing their skills and knowledge.
I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude for the opportunity you provided me to study English and for the profound impact it has had on my life.
