Preparing to achieve her dreams: Israa Awad on the impact of Leaders for Future program
I graduated from English Language and literature department 4 years ago, and I didn’t have the chance to practice English regularly. So this program helped me immensely in refreshing my English language skills through an interactive and positive learning experience. I have had the chance to meet many inspiring teachers and great friends, as I was surrounded with lots of support and encouragement to achieve our goals and dreams.
Thanks to the IELTS course that is included in the program, I was able to learn a lot of useful things about IELTS exam and it filled me with confidence and courage to sit for the exam. 2 months upon finishing the IELTS course, I sat for the exam and I scored 7.5 in IELTS, I was overjoyed and happy with this achievement, as the things I learned from the course contributed hugely in enabling me to achieve this score.
I felt very saddened to part ways with my friends, but I also felt deeply grateful and confident to embark on another journey to achieve my dreams, and sitting for IELTS was the first step towards achieving these dreams. After I received my result, I immediately felt indebted and appreciative of all the support and encouragement I received during my time in the program.
One thing I really loved about the courses was the lively and interactive atmosphere during classes. We’ve had many great teachers who didn’t spare in efforts in making us love learning English. I specifically thank teacher Ola Alfares, Mohamed Alqashim, Amer Alsubai and Mihnaz Sakaki in laying the foundation for my success and achievements. And I wholeheartedly thank all the participants in this great program and I pray to Allah to grant them happiness and success.
