With these words, Amal Mohammed shares how Leaders for Future scholarship from Tawakkol Karman Foundation transformed her life.

Amal says:

Previously, my background in English was basic. However, after starting my studies through the English language scholarship provided by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, I reached an advanced level, and I aspire to continue studying until I obtain the TOEFL certificate and become one of my country’s leaders in the future.

Since my university major is related to English, studying the language helped me better understand my course materials and enabled me to present my research in English. The program has also greatly benefited me in my daily life, and it will support me in completing my graduate studies in the future, God willing.

I have noticed several changes in my personality thanks to the program. My self-confidence and self-respect have increased, and I’ve had the opportunity to meet many people from different nationalities and religions from all over the world. Studying with students and teachers from various backgrounds has allowed me to learn about the customs and cultures of other communities.

There were additional courses on democracy and youth empowerment in the job market. These courses helped enhance my resume, which will qualify me to enter the job market in the future.

I am grateful to Tawakkol Karman Foundation for this wonderful scholarship, which I consider one of the best I’ve received. I am very proud to be one of the students of the English language scholarship from Tawakkol Karman Foundation.
