The scholarship played a key role in her academic and professional development: Yomna Fattah shares her journey with "Leaders for Future" program
The Tawakkol Karman Scholarship was an enriching experience that helped me get to know diligent and ambitious individuals from all over the world. I felt more connected to other cultures and enjoyed our differences. I gained friends and connections that can help me if I ever travel to another country. Furthermore, I became more organized and got better at time management as I had to be part of the scholarship as well as continue my studies as a Bachelor of Pharmacy student in my senior year.
After finishing the courses, I took the IELTS test and received an IELTS certification with a solid band 8. This helped me apply for a master’s degree at Alexandria University and get awarded a mini diploma certification from the Erasmus Plus program. I landed a job as a hospital pharmacist at the best hospital in my city.
This year, I plan to apply for a master’s scholarship abroad—pray for me! When I first received a message from the IDP testing center, I was thrilled. I was indeed immensely happy and satisfied with my results. All the hard work had paid off.
I felt pure gratitude when I was refunded and got my scholarship money at the bank. I learned a lot from my teachers at English Castle on both a personal and professional level. Thank you for being great at English teaching—Dew, Sajed, Ali Teymouri, Sabreen Nasir, and Hassan!
The courses were helpful and informative. I learned more about freedom of speech and democracy. I found the lectures about leadership and postgraduate studies as well as applying for scholarships quite beneficial. The lectures were a bit extended, but they were helpful and detailed nonetheless. I'm grateful to have been part of this!
