Tawakkol Karman Foundation implemented an agricultural project in Al-Ma’afer District in Taiz Governorate for an agricultural engineer, to help her make ends meet and fulfill her dream.
Engineer Najat Abdel-Ghani was attached to agriculture from an early age. She says I have been attached to agriculture since my childhood. My grandfather used to take me to the farm and tell me about the annual agricultural calendar and agricultural dates.
Najat grew up and her dream grew with her until it became a reality.
Najat hoped to be the first to own an agricultural project in the region, so Tawakkol Karman Foundation, through "Haith Al-Insan” program, made that dream come true, and approved the establishment of an agricultural project for her.
The project included preparing an area of agricultural land, building greenhouses, and providing seeds and seedlings.
Engineer Najat's husband says, "I always believe in her success and ability to manage this agricultural project. The Yemeni woman works in the field and takes care of her family."
Najat expressed her great happiness and joy with this agricultural project, wishing that the entire community would move towards establishing agricultural projects.
The agricultural project for the engineer, Najat Abdul-Ghani, is part of Tawakkol Karman Foundation’s development program “Haith Al-Insan,” which is shown by Belqees channel during the month of Ramadan.
