“ I felt isolated from the world before receiving this scholarship! ”

This is how Abdul Rahman Al-Habshi begins his story with Leaders for Future scholarship program provided by Tawakkol Karman Foundation.

Abdul rahman says:

Over the past years, I was unable to learn or explore many fields, and I only relied on in-person education in schools. However, after being accepted into the English language scholarship provided by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, I made significant personal progress. I overcame the barrier of shyness, which allowed me to develop my skills and open up to the world.

I had many goals and ambitions that I was able to achieve because of this scholarship, including the goal of improving my English language skills so that I could offer training courses in English, as I work in the field of training. I succeeded in this. Additionally, the job market preparation program greatly contributed to the development of my leadership skills, and I achieved significant milestones, such as working in the management of a youth volunteer club. Through it, we launched several initiatives. The program also qualified me to work with international organizations on various health projects in our country.

With sincere emotions, I would like to thank you for your contribution, which helped us overcome many obstacles to achieve our ambitions through the English language program and the Job Market Diploma. We hope that you will continue these achievements with more diverse programs that support youth and develop their skills.
