With these words, Abdul Tawab Abdul Rahman shares his story with Leaders for Future scholarship program provided by Tawakkol Karman Foundation.

Abdul Tawab says:
My primary goal for the scholarship was to improve my English, as it is the most widely spoken language globally and is a fundamental requirement when applying for any job, regardless of the position. At the beginning of my English studies through the scholarship provided by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, I struggled with constructing sentences correctly. Over time, however, my language skills improved to an advanced level, and I became fluent in speaking English, which made me extremely happy.

I passed the IELTS exam with a very good score, which means that I will be able to apply for international scholarships to pursue my master's degree after completing my university studies. Additionally, my success in the program will be a strength when applying for jobs in the future. The program provided an excellent opportunity to meet distinguished teachers from different countries, as well as highly cultured friends from most Arab countries.

Throughout the program, there were training courses designed to prepare students for the job market, such as leadership courses and other sessions that helped me acquire essential skills that every student needs to be well-prepared for their professional life after graduation. The program also included training that taught students how to apply for international scholarships.

My success in the program has motivated me to continue enhancing my skills, such as learning Spanish, one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, as well as improving my computer skills, like Word and Excel, and other essential skills that have become crucial in today’s world to remain competitive in the job market.
