Tawakkol Karman Foundation is funding the "Employment Empowerment for People with Special Needs" initiative in Ma'rib City, located in northeastern Yemen. This initiative is part of the foundation's "MUSANADA" youth initiatives program, which was launched in March 2022. The "Employment Empowerment for People with Special Needs" initiative, supported by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, aims to train 40 young individuals with special needs to obtain an International Computer Driving License (ICDL). This training equips them with new skills that enable them to enter the job market successfully. In March 2022, Tawakkol Karman Foundation introduced "MUSANADA" youth initiatives program with the goal of assisting youth initiatives across various Yemeni governorates. The program covers a wide range of areas, including economic and vocational empowerment, democracy and peace, women's empowerment, environmental initiatives, arts, and the promotion of national identity. "MUSANADA" program seeks to economically empower Yemeni youth to contribute to their community's development, foster their initiative and creativity, and facilitate their engagement in reality and change.
