Sponsored by TKF, Yemeni Students Union in Eskişehir concludes leadership program “Miras”
The Yemeni Students’ Union in Eskişehir, Türkiye, recently concluded its “Miras” leadership training program, which was sponsored by Tawakkol Karman Foundation as part of its Jusoor 2024 initiative to support Yemeni student groups across Türkiye.
The “Miras” program brought together over 40 students from Yemen, Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Sudan, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Mauritania, and Nigeria. It offered a series of workshops and training sessions focused on skills like leadership and social change, public speaking, strategic thinking, scientific research, community entrepreneurship, and debate. Several sessions were led by seasoned experts and professionals from diverse fields.
The program’s final day featured a debate competition and an awards ceremony for participants. “Miras” aimed to help students enhance their leadership abilities and develop skills in community engagement and social impact.
