The Youth Forum of Yemen has successfully concluded its "Nokhba" training program in Istanbul, Turkey, which was sponsored by Tawakkol Karman Foundation as part of the Jusoor 2024 initiative aimed at supporting projects for Yemeni student unions and forums in Türkiye. During the closing ceremony, Yousef Beshr, Director of the Jusoor Program, delivered a speech highlighting Tawakkol Karman Foundation's ongoing commitment to support the projects and programs of Yemeni student unions abroad. He emphasized the importance of enhancing Yemeni youth participation in development efforts, as well as fostering cultural and educational activities among Yemeni students and encouraging their interaction and communication. The "Nokhba" program targeted youth aged 17 to 23, providing specialized training in leadership, strategic planning, effective communication, innovation, and constructive problem-solving. The goal was to empower participants to become active leaders within their communities. It is worth noting that Tawakkol Karman Foundation aims to be a global leader in civil society and peacebuilding by focusing on local community development, education, health, economic empowerment, and enabling women to assume leadership roles in their societies while respecting the cultural specificity of each community. The foundation considers democracy, governance, and the promotion of human rights as essential factors for creating meaningful change in people's lives and shaping their perspectives.
