Tawakkol Karman Foundation has supported the "Safer Life" initiative launched in Marib (northeastern Yemen) with the aim of raising awareness among residents of the camps about dealing with fire hazards.
This initiative is part of the youth initiatives program "MUSANADA" launched by the foundation in March 2022.
The "Safer Life" initiative, funded by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, has provided educational sessions to families in Marib camps, which have become a refuge for many who have lost their homes due to the war. The focus has been on reducing fires resulting from electricity supply issues. The initiative members also distributed fire extinguishers among the most affected camps.
In March 2022, Tawakkol Karman Foundation launched the youth initiative program "MUSANADA" with the goal of assisting youth initiatives across various Yemeni governorates. The program covers areas such as economic and vocational empowerment, democracy, peacebuilding, women's empowerment, environment, arts, and promoting national identity.
“MUSANADA” program aims to economically empower Yemeni youth to contribute to their community's development, enhance their spirit of initiative and creativity, and facilitate their engagement in reality and change.
