Tawakkol Karman Foundation has funded a comprehensive project in one of the forgotten displacement camps in Maqbanah, Taiz,
southwest Yemen. Dozens of families sought refuge in "Al-Jarahi" camp, located 71 kilometers away from the center of Taiz, fleeing the war in search of a safe place far from the sound of gunfire. Tawakkol Karman Foundation distributed 150 heads of livestock according to the needs of each family, providing a permanent economic resource for them to benefit from. This comes within the framework of the annual "Haith Al-Insan" program implemented by Tawakkol Karman Foundation. The program includes 30 humanitarian and developmental projects in key areas such as education, health, and economic empowerment. Its aim is to provide support and assistance to the most affected populations by the war in various Yemeni governorates.
