Tawakkol Karman Foundation executed a water project in the village of Issam in Shabwa governorate (Eastern Yemen), which is considered one of the furthest villages in the governorate, where its residents struggle to obtain clean water. Tawakkol Karman Foundation established a solar-powered water tank to become a reliable source of water for the village's residents, whose children used to fetch water from a well instead of going to school. Tawakkol Karman Foundation provided a fresh start and transformed the lives of the village's inhabitants for the better, as water now finds its way to the village, propelling its residents towards a brighter and safer future. It's worth mentioning that this falls within the framework of the annual Haith Al-Insan program implemented by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, including 30 humanitarian and developmental projects in key areas of development: education, health, and economic empowerment, aiming to provide support and assistance to the most affected populations of the war in various Yemeni governorates.
