Funded by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, a special project was initiated for a woman in one of the villages of Lahj governorate (Southern Yemen) after years of study and hard work, granting her an opportunity to change her life and the life of her village. After years of study and hard work, Tawakkol Karman Foundation paved the way for Radia Ali Ahmed, who graduated from university in 2003, granting her an opportunity to change her life and the life of her village. Tawakkol Karman Foundation built a shop for the resilient woman, Radia, in the heart of the village where she resides to contribute to providing a steady source of income for her and her family. It's worth mentioning that this falls within the framework of the annual Haith Al-Insan program implemented by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, including 30 humanitarian and developmental projects in key areas of development: education, health, and economic empowerment, aiming to provide support and assistance to the most affected populations of the war in various Yemeni governorates.
