Tawakkol Karman Foundation has provided funding for "My Psyche and Education" initiative launched in the city of Taiz, located in southwestern Yemen. The initiative aims to instill a sense of hope in the minds of children in the besieged city. This effort falls under the youth initiative program "MUSANADA," launched by the foundation in March 2022.
"My Psyche and Education" initiative, financially supported by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, has conducted training sessions for teachers and parents in three schools located in conflict zones within Taiz. These sessions aim to assist children in coping with the psychological impacts of war, while also equipping some school classrooms with artistic drawings to alleviate stress and remind students of safety and beauty.
In March 2022, Tawakkol Karman Foundation introduced "MUSANADA" youth initiative program, designed to support various youth-led projects across different Yemeni governorates. The program encompasses fields such as economic and vocational empowerment, democracy and peace, women's empowerment, environment, arts, and promotion of national identity.
"MUSANADA" program seeks to economically empower Yemeni youth, enabling them to contribute to their community's development and fostering their initiative and creativity. The program aims to facilitate their engagement in real-world change and progress.
