Tawakkol Karman Foundation provided a source of income for a citizen who devoted himself to repairing the road in Jabal Murad District, Marib Governorate. o be closer to the road that he repairs, Tawfiq decided to adventure and live in the stream of torrents, while his children and wife remain in the village for schooling and they visit him during the weekend and annual leave. Tawfiq said that the floods surprised them one day, and he and one of his children almost lost their lives in that incident, in which the torrents swept away his furniture. Tawfiq says that his financial conditions are harsh, and he hopes to obtain a stable source of income to provide for his needs with his family. Tawakkol Karman Foundation built a store for Tawfiq and equipped it with refrigerators and air conditioning. Also provided foodstuffs and various goods for the store, which is called Tawfiq Grocery, to be a source of income for him and his family. Noting that Tawfiq also needs a means of transportation, the foundation provided him with a motorcycle so that he can travel between the house and the road repair sites, as well as bring goods for his grocery store and bring the needs of his family. This project is part of the Tawakkol Karman Foundation projects through Haith Al-Insan program, Season 3, which is presented by Belqees channel during Ramadan.
