Tawakkol Karman Foundation Delivers Water to Al-Safha Village (Marib, Yemen)
Tawakkol Karman Foundation implemented a project to deliver water to Al-Safha village in the Al-Juba district in Marib governorate, whose residents suffer from a shortage.
The population of Al-Safha village is (500) people who suffer from a scarcity of fresh water in their homes, and have to travel for a distance to fetch it obtaining it, ranging between 30 to 40 kilometers, and it takes three hours by car.
Talib Al-Ashram, one of the villagers, says that we suffer greatly to fetch water from the wells and springs.
Al-Jabri Talib Al-Aghbas, one of the notables of the village, talks about the daily suffering of the people of the village. He says: Throughout the years, we have been searching for drinking water.
Tawakkol Karman Foundation, through "Haith Al-Insan" program, went to the Al-Safha village and implemented a project to deliver water to the villagers.
Al-Aghbas says the project is good work, and whoever did it deserves thanks, and that the joy is great for all the people.
The water delivery project to Al-Safha village is part of Tawakkol Karman Foundation development program "Haith Al-Insan” broadcasted by Belqees channel during the month of Ramadan.
