Tawakkol Karman Foundation equips Al-Noor School with a computer lab in Jarsha
Tawakkol Karman Foundation established a computer and Internet lab at Al-Nour School in Al-Jarsha, Marib Governorate, to provide students with computer skills that enable them to keep pace with the times and knowledge.
Hanaa Al-Bami is a teacher at Al-Noor School in Al-Jarsha and works diligently in teaching. On Teacher’s Day, she was honored at the governorate with a computer.
Hana says: I returned home with the computer and was happy, but unfortunately, I could not use it. I went to Marib city to take educational courses, but the circumstances were an obstacle to continuing training.
Karima Muhammad Al-Amshali, a student at Al-Noor School, reached high school, but she had not heard of the computer. Karima is like many of her schoolmates who had never heard of the computer.
Karima says: I hope to learn computer skills because I dream of completing my university studies, and this requires me to master computer skills.
According to Muhammad Saif Nomran, the principal of Al-Noor School in Al-Jarsha, the school is not teaching computer subjects because there is no computer lab, adding that we tried hard to open the computer lab in the school and we asked government agencies and relevant organizations to provide us, but with no response.
Tawakkol Karman Foundation, through "Haith Al-Insan” program, responded to the school’s calls and requests, established a computer and Internet lab at Al-Noor School in Al-Jarsha, and equipped it with all requirements.
The establishment of a computer and Internet lab is part of Tawakkol Karman Foundation development program “Haith Al-Insan,” which is presented by Belqees channel during the month of Ramadan.
