TKF launches "Still Under Siege" Film as the first presentation of "MUSANADA" Youth Initiatives Program
Tawakkol Karman Foundation has provided funding for 'Watad' initiative in the temporary capital, Aden. The initiative aims to involve art and artists in peacebuilding as part of 'MUSANADA' youth initiatives program, launched by the foundation in March 2022.
'Watad' initiative, supported by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, trained 20 young artists from Aden on the concepts through which art can make an impact on society. The initiative resulted in the production of two films by the group and organized an art exhibition that caught the community's attention to the city's beauty.
In March 2022, Tawakkol Karman Foundation launched 'MUSANADA' youth initiatives program with the aim of supporting youth initiatives in various Yemeni governorates. The program covers various fields, including economic and artisanal empowerment, democracy and peace, women's empowerment, environment, arts, and the promotion of national identity.
The 'MUSANADA' program seeks to economically empower Yemeni youth to contribute to the development of their communities, foster their spirit of initiative and creativity, facilitate their engagement in reality, and bring about positive change.
