Haith Al-Insan transforms life of disabled firewood seller in Hadramout
In its sixth season, Haith Al-Insan program, funded by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, has changed the life of a citizen with special needs from the city of Al Mukalla in Hadramout. Ali Bansar, a father of one daughter and expecting his second child, has been living with a disability since birth, facing hardships since childhood. He used to travel long distances on foot, enduring the harsh realities of life in the firewood-selling profession to support his family and assist his mother and sister. Haith Al-Insan program provided Ali with a wheelchair to aid in his mobility, fully furnished his home, and rented him a fish-selling store, a profession he has always loved. Expressing his immense happiness for the support provided by Haith Al-Insan program, Ali Bansar affirmed that the assistance will change his life and improve his income. Ali Bansar stated: 'Goodbye to all the past sorrow and hardship. I thank Haith Al-Insan program and Tawakkol Karman Foundation.' It is worth noting that Haith Al-Insan program is an annual initiative implemented by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, comprising 30 humanitarian and developmental projects in key areas such as education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. The program aims to provide support and assistance to the most affected populations of the war in various Yemeni governorates. The projects are documented in television episodes aired annually during the month of Ramadan on Belqees TV channel.
