The Tawakkol Karman Foundation has implemented a project to build Nashwan Al-Humairi primary school in Jaw Al-Naseem area of Ma'rib Governorate. As a result of the war, the population of the Ma’rib has increased to tens of thousands due to waves of displacement.
Youth in the governorate face difficulty in understanding and practicing their studies due to lack of educational infrastructure. Classrooms are currently made of tin and tents, which has led many students to drop out of school. The Tawakkol Karman Foundation’s Haith Al-Insan team has established a comprehensive school in that area consisting of nine classrooms and their annexes allowing students can continue learning in a tidy and suitable environment.
