Tawakkol Karman Foundation has established a primary school in the village of Amqadah, located approximately 70 kilometers from Shabwah Governorate.
Previously, students studied in small, dilapidated shacks that they called a school, enduring fluctuating weather conditions and rough roads to reach it. Seasonal rains caused those shacks to be washed away, and each time, locals had to collect the remaining boards and wood pieces that were scattered by the floods to attempt to repair the school.
Tawakkol Karman Foundation's Haith Al-Insan team established a six-classroom integrated school in the area and provided it with complete school furniture, enabling hundreds of students to continue learning under favorable and suitable conditions.
