Tawakkol Karman Foundation has established a sports hall for autistic patients in the city of Mukalla, located in Hadramout Governorate.
The parents of children with autism had decided to establish an association to care for autism patients in the governorate more than eleven years ago, and they received promises of support from official authorities. Unfortunately, those promises were not fulfilled.
The association building remained a collection of residential apartments that were not suitable for this project. Tawakkol Karman Foundation's Haith Al-Insan team decided to support them by establishing a sports hall for children with autism, equipped with the necessary equipment and machines, to be a breathing space for them and a suitable area for training, rehabilitation, and play.
