On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Tawakkol Karman Foundation officially launched the "Jusoor" program in Istanbul, aimed at supporting the projects of Yemeni student unions and clubs in Türkiye.
The "Jusoor" program seeks to enhance the participation of Yemeni youth in the development process, promote cultural and educational activities among Yemeni students, and foster communication and interaction between them. This will be achieved by funding and organizing a series of events and initiatives that reflect the foundation's vision and support its areas of work.
Additionally, the program aims to support and strengthen the activities of Yemeni students studying in Türkiye, promote cultural and intellectual mobility among the student community, and build an interactive network of students who share the foundation's values and goals.
The program will target the General Union of Yemeni Students in Türkiye, the subsidiary unions of Yemeni students in various Turkish cities, which amount to more than 30 unions, cultural and intellectual clubs, reading clubs for Yemeni students, and Yemeni student forums in Türkiye.
