Tawakkol Karman Foundation supported a former news presenter at Radio Aden with a small business, after the station stopped working due to the war and suspension of salaries of the public servants.
Radio presenter Salah Al-Dini says that he has been out of work for seven years, during which he suffered the most. Salah and his colleagues requested repeatedly to reopen Radio Aden, in vain.
Al-Dini moved between many public jobs and settled as a broadcaster on Radio Aden, where he presented many radio programs and works during his radio career, and his voice reached every home, he ultimately became unemployed and lived in his rented house.
Al-Dini adds that he searched a lot for a job to support himself and his family, but to no avail, indicating that he had always thought of starting a small business to support himself and his family.
Al-Dini says that he tried to work in several jobs, including working in the used goods market, stressing that if he owned the capital, he would establish a small business.
Tawakkol Karman Foundation funded Al-Dini, to open a fabric store, selling women's clothing, and cosmetics in Sheikh Othman city, Aden Governorate.
This project is part of Tawakkol Karman Foundation projects, through Haith Al-Insan program, season 3, which is presented by Belqees channel in Ramadan.
