Tawakkol Karman Foundation has established a medical laboratory in the district of Qaatabah in Al-Dhale governorate.
The project was specifically designed for Dr. Latifa, who graduated in laboratory specialization from Al-Dhale University. Dr. Latifa faced significant challenges throughout her educational journey, from primary school to university, due to her congenital spinal deformity and short right foot.
Despite working long periods at the hospital, Dr. Latifa was not paid for her work due to her disability.The laboratory has been equipped with furniture, medical equipment, and supplies.
