One of the students of Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari School in Al-Nashma area, Al-Ma’afer District, Taiz Governorate, says: Classrooms are cramped, cannot accommodate students, and we cannot write.
Another student said: Classrooms are very narrow. Sometimes I have to seek the help of my classmates and take notebooks to write at home.
The school has a capacity of 500 students, and it lacks basic schooling needs, nor does it have windows or doors.
A teacher said: We are affected by the bad condition of the school, especially in the windy, cold and rainy seasons. The students do not fully understand, she adds.
Another teacher said: The government built only three classrooms, and the first class has 73 students and 68 students in the second, and the rest of the classes are cramped and crowded, and the last class includes 44 students.

Tawakkol Karman Foundation implemented the project to expand the school and built additional classrooms, to three classrooms.
A teacher says: There is a big difference before the intervention of Tawakkol Karman Foundation through “Haith AL-Insan” program which is broadcasted by Belqees channel during the month of Ramadan, and after the intervention. The teacher adds: We have provided a classroom for administration, the former administration office was one of the school's classrooms, this is a great breakthrough, and we thank those who contributed to this achievement.
