Tawakkol Karman Foundation Purchases Four Ambulances (Taiz, Yemen)
Taiz is a city that has been under the brunt of war for six years, increasing the number of victims. Amid the division between the parties to the conflict and the cutting off of most of its road networks, especially for those who live in the countryside and are forced to take alternative, rugged roads. Old cars no longer meet the purpose of transportation in these complex and dangerous road networks, which makes many people die desperately on the road before being transferred to hospitals.
In response to the increasing calls for assistance this year and as part of the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in Taiz, Yemen, Tawakkol Karman Foundation purchased four ambulances to transport the wounded and sick in the city, and this comes within the various activities carried out by the Foundation in the field of health, especially in conflict areas.
