Tawakkol Karman Foundation Donated 60 beds for the Patients of the Isolation Center of Coronavirus "Covid 19" Patients in Al-Jumhori Hospital in Taiz Governorate. To combat the "Covid 19" epidemic that swept the world and caused panic and damages that are still being counted every day, the hospital administration prepared a special center to combat the widespread epidemic. Officials in the health office in Taiz governorate say that half of the governorate's population will be infected if the epidemic reaches the governorate.

Dr. Nashwan Al-Husami, Director of Al-Jumhori Hospital in Taiz, says that while this is a good initiative, they are still in need of ventilators, housing, and nutrition for doctors and nurses. We need more than one initiative since the isolation center lacks the minimum basic requirements to carry out its medical mission.

Al-Husami says we need to rehabilitate the hospital, which was destroyed by the war, and work stopped in most of the hospital's departments and health centers.

According to Al-Husami, the hospital is operating at 20 percent of its capacity. Most of the medical staff do not adhere to working hours, and those who work now are volunteer doctors and nurses.
