TKF launches its summer program for children
Education is an investment that builds prosperous, healthy, and just societies. Educational systems worldwide are changing and developing each day to meet the demands of the labor market and provide students with a flexible and modern education that equips them right skills commensurate with diverse social and cultural environments. The long summer vacation may cause the loss of the educational skills learned during the school year and prevent them from improving.
Therefore, Summer school programs are critical to the enhancement of intellectual, physical, and social well-being. For these reasons, TKF launched its summer program for girls and boys ages 7-15. The summer program meets the second Millennium Development Goal: the right to education for all. And in the context of combating poverty and increasing children's learning of life skills and well-being. The program includes extracurricular, and the lessons take place in the foundation's building, Istanbul, this coming September, for an hour and a half a day, three days a week.
