Nobel laureate heads to Germany to take part in Munich Security Conference
Today, the Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman traveled to Germany to participate in the Munich Security Conference.
The Munich Security Conference is among the most important international events, where security and defense leaders and officials from around the world meet to discuss security-related threats and challenges.
The three-day conference will be held next Friday with the participation of 35 heads of State and prime ministers, about 100 ministers, and the leaders of the United Nations, NATO and the European Union, including US Vice President Kamala Harris and the Ukrainian president.
In November 2020, the prestigious Munich Security Conference chose Tawakkol Karman as an important voice for women's empowerment and the struggle for peace.
