The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, participated today (Wednesday) in an official ceremony to rename the Saudi Embassy Street in Washington after the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi murdered inside his country's consulate in Turkey.

In a relevant statement, Tawakkol Karman pointed out that the journalist Jamal Khashoggi died in a horrific way, adding that renaming the Saudi embassy street in Washington after him is evidence that he will be remembered as a symbol of freedom. 

There is no doubt that Jamal did not want to die, at least in this brutal way, but now he is freer than ever before, she continued, explaining that those who planned and orchestrated that murdering surrounded their necks with a sin that they would never be able to erase no matter what they do, and that justice would come sooner or later.
