Tawakkol Karman participates in celebration on October 14 Revolution and honors folk singer Amal Ku’dul
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has participated in a celebration marking the 59th anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution, organized by Tawakkol Karman Foundation in Istanbul, and honored the Yemeni well-known folk singer Amal Ku’dul.
Yemen will swallow up all those who are greedy for its soil and resources, and will break them just as it has done with whom who were even stronger and more tyrannical and oppressive, Tawakkol Karman stated.
She added, “Just as the September 26 Revolution inspires us today to resist the Imamate and confront its dynastic supremacy, the October Revolution today manifests itself as a guiding national landmark that inspires us to resist the occupation and its tools”
The countries driven by the greedy desire to partition Yemen into spheres of influence have committed crimes against humanity and desecrated the country, she explained.
She continued that greedy objectives and ambitions will fall and sink in the sands of Yemen, stressing that the Yemeni people will not allow these crimes and violations to pass without accountability and punishment.
"The October Revolution came to strengthen the solid bond between Yemenis who succeeded in removing the artificial division lines set by both the Imamate and colonialism, and made the September and October revolutions a new dawn that culminated in the Yemeni reunification in May 90, which came as a result of such national struggle path”, Mrs. Karman said.
Finally, she pointed out that "the Yemeni people today has a grave responsibility to confront the most dangerous conspiracy against Yemen."
