Tawakkol Karman Foundation Purchases Paintings Worth 4 Million Riyals by Yemeni Artist "Hashem Ali"
The war that has been raging in Yemen for four years has had negative consequences on various sectors in Yemen. Culture, art, and means of peace have had the largest share of it, considering that the Art sector in Yemen did not receive the necessary attention before the time of war. And in addition to being neglected before the war, it was ignored and often destroyed after its outbreak.
Hashem Ali is one of the affected artists, despite his long artistic career and expertise. Ali is considered to be a pioneer in graphic art in the Arab world.
