Tawakkol Karman Foundation provided an income-generating project for three orphan sisters, in the Sala district, in Taiz governorate.
Laila Abdullah says that she does not have a regular income to support her sisters, and her children and she tries hard to work in daily labor professions to provide simple sums of money that are not sufficient to meet their needs.
Laila's parents died in a traffic accident 18 years ago, when the father was speeding in his car to rescue his two sick daughters from Al-Waziy'a to Taiz city. The father and mother died, and the two children remained together so their older sister assumed the responsibility of taking care of them since then.
Marwa, one of the two surviving children, says that she is grateful to her sister for what she has provided since the death of their father at a time when everyone abandoned them.
Marwa hopes that they will have a small project that will change their difficult living conditions and help them continue their education and fulfill their aspirations, but they did not find anyone to stand by them in such an endeavor, which she dreams of being a store that sells mobile accessories.
Tawakkol Karman Foundation provided a small project for the three sisters and enrolled them in an institute to study cell phone maintenance to facilitate managing their business, which they had always dreamed of achieving. The Foundation provided a store for selling mobile accessories and maintenance, equipped with products and tools for mobile phone maintenance.
This project is part of Tawakkol Karman Foundation projects, through Haith Al-Insan program, Season 3, which is presented by Belqees channel during Ramadan.
