37 participants Start Advanced Performance Arts Course as part of the Art for Peace Program
On Monday 18th Of October 2021, 37 participants started the advanced performance arts course as part of the Art for Peace Program that implements by the Tawakkol Karman Foundation.
Participants will be informed in the course that conduct by instructors from several countries who are specialists in singing and music and training in their arts, knowledge in practical training sectors audio and lyrically on melodic and harmonic distances and to learn and perform them with simplified methods.
In addition, participants will receive training in popular subordinates such as shura, suzinak, bestenigâr, hüzzam, uşşak, nevruz, zenceran and şevk-efzâ, and focus more on how professional performances will be on stage. Then, explanations on some melodic patterns such as muvaşşah (Poetry of Andalusian origin), role, eulogy, mevâl (folk poetry sung with an instrument) and improvised performance will also be within the scope of the course.
We can say that this course is the last stage of the training. Then ten trainees will be under selection to reperform a collection of songs from the Yemeni cultural heritage and to participate in the "Peace" operetta, which will be the closing part of the "Art for Peace Program" event.
It is pointed out that the participants had previously taken intensive training courses about performance arts and artistic education for four weeks in 60 training hours divided into two groups.
