TKF fulfills the dream of a technician in Taiz by opening an electronics workshop
Despite the many restrictions that society imposes on women and monopolizing some professions for males only, the technician Anisa Al-Salami broke those societal barriers and restrictions and entered the world of technical work in a society that had never believed in women’s capabilities in anything, so she went through her experience as a successful technician.
Anisa Al-Salami says that she acquired the profession of maintenance of electrical devices from her father, who passed away years ago.
Anisa started working in a small corner of her house three years ago. She also received many courses and training in the field of electronics maintenance. Then she went to work outside the home. In the morning she worked at the Al-Khansa Institute and did some work in government facilities.
Hanan Muhammad, the dean of the Al-Khansaa Institute, describes the technician Anisa Al-Salami, as talented, and that she possesses great skills and talent in maintaining electronics in general, surpassing many men in this field.
Tawakkol Karman Foundation, through “Haith Al-Insan” program, was able to reach technician Anisa, and provided her with a shop for the maintenance of electronic devices, furnished the shop, installed decoration, purchased glass tables, as well as provided repair devices, and tools and electronic parts.
Anisa expressed her great joy and happiness for realizing her long-awaited dream.
Building an electronic workshop for technician Anisa Al-Salami in Taiz city is part of Tawakkol Karman Foundation development program "Haith Al-Insan", which is presented on Belqees channel during the month of Ramadan.
